There are four interface types that are defined for you: If your wireless device is not controlled by any one of these options, it may be necessary for you to add a new Interface type.

You can access these standards by using the following link: If your company’s interpretation is different than Agilent’s, then you are required to make the appropriate changes to the code before the Interactive Functional Test Software will communicate properly with your wireless device.

This section allows you to select which formats the current wireless device supports. The selected formats are the formats made available in the Current 3pgp list that is associated with the Current DUT. The selected format determines which default settings are applied to the test set.

This section allows you to set the power supply voltage settings including: VoltageMax voltage limitand Min voltage limit. Voltage is the setting that the power supply is set to when the power supply is set to “On” in the main toolbar at the top of the Interactive Functional Test Software window.
Max voltage limit and Min voltage limit set the voltage range that the power supply is allowed to be set to in the Battery Profile screen.
Max current limit A sets the maximum current level supplied by the power supply. The 2700 supply is turned off when the Interactive Functional Test Software closes or when any changes are made to the above parameters.

When you 3gp this button, you are prompted to select which wireless device you wish to clone. Once you make your selection, the DUT control is displayed for any changes that are needed.

This feature is useful when a new DUT is very similar to an existing one with a few minor exceptions. The Diagnostic Port allows you to test whether you can use the Interactive Functional Test Software to control the wireless device 3vpp.
You must assign a Port Name before the Interactive Functional Test Software will allow you set up any other port settings. In the General tab under “Connect using”, make sure the correct device is checked. Some modems support the multiple COM ports and some do not.
Port status – This field displays whether the port assigned to the wireless device is open or closed. Click the Open button to open the port and click the Close button to close it. Note that an error is displayed if you attempt to open the port and the port that port does not exist. Also, the port may not operate properly until you correctly define the properties of the port. This parameter is useful, for example, when the Interface type is set to AT Command Interface and the buttons on the DUT control are not behaving the way you expect them to.
The debug viewer allows you to set the location of the window to Always on Top and also Clear the contents. Note that when you click Clearthe debug viewer is cleared and then automatically displays which Interface Type is being used.
The following parameters define the port properties. These are common port settings that are not explained in this manual. Read timeout msecWrite timeout msecRead buffer size kbytesWrite buffer size kbytesand Received bytes threshold.
The parameters in this portion of the Diagnostic Port tab are only accessible if the Port status shows “Opened”. Test communication allows you to send single line commands to the wireless device. The Modem Port tab allows you to set up a port on your PC to communicate with your wireless device.
The parameters on this tab must be configured if you plan to use the Interactive Functional Test Software to control your wireless device as a modem. The Modem Port tab provides the same port setup parameters that are available in the Standard and Advanced tabs within the Diagnostic Port tab. Again, you must first assign a Port Name before the Interactive Functional Test Software will allow you set up any other port settings.
Once you have the Modem Port tab’s setup parameters configured, enter the modem connection script for your device. The Modem Port tab’s setup parameters do not apply when the connection method used is a program rather than a script.
The modem connection script is specific to your particular device and may need to be obtained from the developers of your wireless device.
