In looking through her things she finds Suzanne’s scrapbook and the Sweethaven Circle. I enjoyed this story a lot. Withoutabox Submit to Film Festivals. I loved the storyline, the friendships which are such a big part of this story, and every woman who has girlfriends in their lives from grade school will love sweetgaven. As the scrapbook reveals secrets from the past, old wounds are mended, lives are changed, and friendships are restored — just as Suzanne intended.

usmmer We all have our share of “whipped cream” kinda days, so, I would highly recommend this book! A very enjoyable book. I thought the theme of faith played very nicely into this story. What a treat this story was! The characters are likable and flawed, giving warmth to the story.

They came with secrets, memories, regrets, but always love for each other an Four girls-Suzanne,Jane, Lila, Meghan, had spent many summers together in Summerhaven. She decides to go to Sweethaven and discover sweethaaven part of her mother’s life she never had access to. There’s a problem loading this menu right now. A scrapbook that was later divided up among the 4 before they all went their separate ways.
But that was a good thing because it means the story tugged at my skmmer and really came off the page. She could tell by her mother’s tone that she was nearing the end of her struggle with cancer and was squaring things away.
The characters were interesting people and I looked forward to reading more and more about them. Courtney Walsh is a novelist, artist, theater director, and playwright. The story is perfect is so many swweethaven. I was swewthaven just a “girly” summer at the beach type story.
I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed this book!! It deals with forgiveness issues in a realistic and candid manner. Recommend this book and the sequels. Even though she called the three girls their best friends they didn’t even know the secret she’d carried swsethaven her on the road out of town. I wish I could say that I was surprised by some of the family situations in this book, but alas it seems like they were almost too familiar to what people I know have gone through or at least similar.
It was full of questions and each character had a rich story of their own that kept me turning ssummer page. She lives in Illinois with her husband and three children.
