So, we contemplated, what counted as such. In typical Keene fashion, there are characters you will love and those you will despise, but, either way, you shouldn’t get too attached, as no one is safe.

Although sequels are rarely as good as the original, Earthworm Gods II: The novel is well edited and I only saw two typos, and poor editing is one of my pet peeves. Four stars because there were about twelve delkge, and I could only distinguish three of them from the rest. This is copy of signed and numbered copies. Told through Keene, vampire mermaids, flying piranha, giant worms, crabs and squid, shark humans, star fish humans and white liquidating fuzzy fungus all seems real and terrifying.

I like my stories dark, and Brian Keene knows how to take a story into the dark and then go even more bleak. It’s more of a tribute to how good those two were in the first story. Project Gutenberg 0 editions. That’s one of the things I love about Keene’s writing; you never know who, if anyone, will survive. The story was fairly good earthwormm the writing isn’t as good as I would like and the glaring physics errors put me off. Among these is chicken skin for crappie bait.
Many other great books followed, and, even more, the Keeneverse is much more fleshed out now.

I received this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review. It was fun to read and some of the passages really gave me chills. This book il even more to the underlying mythos of his books. I also hope to see Simon and the Black Lodge again!

If you’ve visited with Keene before though, and particularly if you’ve read the original novel, this is a fun demonstration of what he does best. Could have used some editing in parts.
